Madison Cornelia

Occupational Therapy

Madison attended the University of Mary for both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in University Studies in May of 2018 and graduated with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy in December of 2019, through an integrated program. Madison has completed internships at a variety of care facilities that included early intervention, outpatient pediatrics, home health, and acute hospital settings (pediatrics and adult). When not at work, Madison likes to spend her time with her husband, their Saint Bernard, Roxi, and cooking and baking in the kitchen.

Career Highlights:

●  Madison has worked with a multitude of children and diagnoses from 0-18 including but not limited to: Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Modulation Disorder, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delay, children with self-regulation and behavior difficulties, fine motor delays and difficulties, as well as handwriting difficulties.

●  Madison went to Lima, Peru for 2 weeks to assist children with OT needs at La Alegría en el Señor, a K-12 school for children with disabilities. While there, she worked with the children to assist in their occupations at school and make it more functional for them.
