Tele Therapy
Advanced Therapy Clinic is pleased to offer Tele-Therapy. With a few simple steps you will be able to connect with your child’s therapist from the comfort of your own home. To get started you will need the following:
Contact ATC @ 406-690-6996 to verify that your child’s insurance is currently covering tele therapy services.
A computer or Tablet WITH A CAMERA and MICROPHONE
Internet Connection
An email Address
An account with our tele therapy software ZOOM (its free and directions are below)
Setting up Zoom
Prior to your first appointment you will need to create a Zoom account
Go to ZOOM.US
Sign up for an account - top right corner of the homepage
Enter your email, then Zoom will send you a link to set up and account.
Open the email sent by ZOOM and set up your account
Go to “My account”
Once in your account, select “Meetings” from the left hand column
Select “Personal Meeting Room” from the tabs at the top of the Meetings Page
Scroll down to the Bottom and select “Edit This Meeting”
Go to “Video” (3rd option down) and select both “on” for participant and host
For “Meeting Options” (5th options down) and Select “Enable to Join Before Host”
Scroll down and select “Save”
**If you are using an Iphone or Android for meetings you will need to download the “Zoom Cloud Meetings” app and sign in with the account you created**
Joining Your Meeting
Click on the button below for your therapists 10 digit ID number, which will connect you with your therapist.
Go to ZOOM.US and follow remaining directions below, OR open iphone/android app and log in and select “Join Meeting” and you will be linked to your meeting with your therapist. Allow zoom to access your camera and microphone when prompted.
Log into your account
In the top right select “Join a Meeting”
When prompted type in the 10 digit meeting ID found by clicking the button below, and click on “Join”
You may be asked to “Open Zoom Meetings?” select “Open Zoom Meetings”
If prompted to join with or without video, select “Join with Video”
When prompted select “Join with Computer Audio”
You will then be joined into the meeting, and will see and hear your therapist once they have joined the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the therapist will close the session. No further action is needed.
