Carrie attended The University of Akron where she received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2000. She worked as an elementary school teacher and art teacher for several years and has been working in the field of ABA for 10 years, completing her BCaBA coursework through FIT (Florida Institute of Technology). Carrie LOVES her job at ATC and when not at work, she enjoys looking at kittens on Instagram and hiking with her two sons and husband.
Career Highlights:
● Passed BCaBA board examination in 2015.
● Pioneered and Directed the first Sensory Classroom at Harvest Church in Billings, MT.
● Orchestrated “Holiday Respite Days” at Harvest Church - where families within the Billings community could leave their children with qualified, trained health professionals.
● Has worked with children ages 2-12 affected by a multitude of diagnoses including but not limited to: Autism, OCD, ODD, feeding issues, Pica, Epilepsy, fine and gross motor delays, language/communication delays, anxiety disorders, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Marfan Syndrome and Alcohol Fetal Syndrome

● Instructing and establishing rapport with young learners with anxiety
● Differential Reinforcement (reinforcing appropriate behavior, rather than punishing inappropriate behavior)
● Creating skill acquisition plans for learners with Autism
