Pediatric Licensed Counselor

At ATC we believe in the strength of the family and its capacity to promote the health and development of children. We offer pediatric counseling to aid early intervention for children with special needs or who have a history of trauma/neglect, behavior, anxiety, depression, feeding and attachment disorders. Our counselor works with and treats the families, parents, and caregivers to solidify their relationships with themselves and their children for the betterment of the family.

Job Description

ATC is seeking a dedicated and passionate counselor with pediatric experience who will be responsible for providing in center based Early Intervention counseling services to toddlers, children, and families. The counselor will participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, and consult with team members regarding clinical issues and provide service coordination. The counselor must be comfortable working with children with and without special needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology or related field

• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

• Currently licensure eligible or licensed as a LMHC or LMFT preferred

• Current Malpractice Insurance

• Pediatric Experience
